A system and method for transmission of advertisements includes wirelessly broadcasting from a location, information that includes a telephone number associated an advertisement and user credentials. The information is received by a mobile communication device associated with a user of a service provider network. After being received, the telephone number is either mapped to a soft-key of the mobile communication device or disregarded, based on the user credentials.
