The invention also relates to a method for producing a fluid pump of said type, in which method the shaft is fixed with its first end in a housing, in particular in a plastic housing, of the pump, the inner rotor of the pump is pushed onto the shaft and is secured axially by means of a bearing cap which is placed onto the shaft and is supported by the shaft.
