An exemplary mobile communication device comprises an operating system for the mobile communication device and a radio interface for connecting to a wireless network. The exemplary mobile communication device also comprises a display on which a graphical user interface is displayed to enable the user to operate the mobile communication device according to the operating system. The exemplary mobile communication device additionally comprises a local storage where the data files associated with the graphical user interface are stored wherein the local storage permits the storage of a plurality of user interfaces and a manager that manages the graphical user interface such that the user can select one out of the plurality of stored graphical user interfaces.
