The processing system is configured to determine potential interference from communications with a first wireless node within a first coverage area through a first wireless interface, and to manage the potential interference when communicating with a neighboring apparatus within a second coverage area through a second wireless interface. The second coverage area is greater than the first coverage area and the neighboring apparatus is outside the first coverage area.
