The invention relates to a cosmetic assembly for improving the appearance of the skin, comprising a first anhydrous composition comprising a polymer-H2O2 complex, said polymer having hydrogen-bond acceptor groups which are capable of forming a noncovalent chemical bond with hydrogen peroxide, and a second composition comprising an activator which promotes the decomposition of H2O2.
