The photodetector (120) includes a light receiving part (123) which receives the luminous flux reflected by the optical disk (21), a package (125) which covers the light receiving part (123), and a heat transfer adhesion layer (124) disposed between the package (125) and the light receiving part (123). The heat transfer adhesion layer (124) is formed in a region that is on the light receiving part (123) and includes a light path through which the luminous flux reflected by the optical disk (21) passes.
