摘要：
Provided is a linear light source capable of alleviating increases in display apparatus sizes. The linear light source (30) comprises white LEDs (31), infrared LEDs (32), and a substrate (33) whereupon the white LEDs and the infrared LEDs are arranged linearly. An anode terminal (33c) and a cathode terminal (33e) for the white LEDs are provided on an end section on one side of the substrate, and an anode terminal (33d) and a cathode terminal (33f) for the infrared LEDs are provided on an end section on the other side of the substrate.
