A method of fabricating a separator is provided. The method includes providing a porous non-woven substrate, and coating a first resin on the non-woven substrate, wherein the first resin includes hydrophilic oxyalkyl compounds, oxyalkyl polymers, oxyalkenyl alkyl polymers or derivatives thereof. The disclosure also provides a separator prepared by the method.
