An information processing apparatus comprises a determination unit configured to determine whether a print mode is a print mode via a server capable of performing communication via a network, and a printing control unit configured to send print data including drawing data received from a pass-through application and divided in page units and control data regarding printing of the drawing data to the server device when the determination unit determines that the print mode is the print mode via the server, and to send the control data to a printing apparatus capable of performing communication via the network.
