The capacitor element includes an anode foil having a dielectric layer on a surface thereof, and a solid electrolyte layer including a conductive polymer and in contact with the dielectric layer of the anode foil. The electrolyte solution contains at least one of polyalkylene glycol and a derivative of polyalkylene glycol, and at least one of diphenyl amine, naphthol, nitrophenol, catechol, resorcinol, hydroquinone, and pyrogallol.
