The electronic apparatus includes a communicator configured to transmit/receive a signal to/from another electronic apparatus and a controller configured to receive first information of the other electronic apparatus, the first information including a device identification information and a function identification information corresponding to a function being executed in the other apparatus, and control the communicator to transmit second information for pairing with the other apparatus to connect to the other electronic apparatus, to the other electronic apparatus, if the function being executed in the other apparatus is controllable in the electronic apparatus. Accordingly, a user may determine whether another electronic apparatus is a controllable apparatus, connect to another electronic apparatus easily based on the result of the determination, and control the connected another electronic apparatus.
