The thin-film transistor substrate includes: a first translucent electrode; a color filter; metal wiring that is provided above the color filter and electrically coupled with the first translucent electrode; a light-absorbing layer provided on the metal wiring; and an optical interference layer provided on the light-absorbing layer. The optical interference layer includes the first translucent electrode.
