The exhaust gas treatment unit is placed laterally outside right or left side of the hood and behind the front wheel, and purifies exhaust gas from the engine. A circular cylindrical heat shielding plate covers an outer circumferential surface of the exhaust gas treatment unit. A plurality of vent holes are formed in a rear surface of the heat shielding plate, and are not formed in a region that lies on a front surface of the heat shielding plate and faces the front wheel.
