Both ends of the magnetic tape are being overlapped together. Overlapped portions of the magnetic tape include a joining portion and are being joined by resistance welding at the joining portion. The joining portion of the magnetic tape joined by resistance welding has a maximum length in a cable longitudinal direction of not greater than ⅓ a width of the magnetic tape.
