A method for accommodation location selection by an accommodation search system includes receiving a location of interest from a user device; providing a list of accommodations to the user device, the list of accommodations based at least in part on the location of interest; providing a command to the user device to display the list of accommodations and the location of interest in a map configuration; receiving an indication of a selected accommodation from the user device; determining a path from the selected accommodation to the location of interest; and providing a command to the user device to display the path from the selected accommodation to the location of interest.
