The damping control device also includes a damping rate variation unit that sets the damping of a feed forward control unit to a first damping rate when the target driving torque change amount and the target motor torque change amount both are positive or negative, and to a second damping rate, which is smaller than the first damping rate, when the target driving torque change amount and the target motor torque change amount have opposite positivity or negativity.
