Abstract:
The present invention relates to a brushless direct current electric motor (1), in particular for a wiping system, comprising: a rotor (15) comprising a control magnet, a stator (3) having electromagnetic excitation coils (9) of the rotor (15), at least one Hall effect sensor (23) configured to detect an angular position of the control magnet (21), a control unit (25) connected to said Hall effect sensor (23) and configured to determine at least one angular position of the rotor (15) in relation to the stator (3) from the signals (H) from the Hall effect sensor (23) and to generate control signals (C) to power the electromagnetic excitation coils (9) of the stator (3) as a function of the determined angular position of the rotor (15), in which the control unit (25) comprises a clock (26) and is configured to: estimate the angular position of the rotor (15) at a plurality of predetermined instants (i21 . . . i25) lying between two changes of state of the Hall effect sensor (23) from the instants (I0, I1) of the preceding changes of state, determine values of the control voltages associated with the angular positions of the rotor (15) estimated for the predetermined instants (i21 . . . i25), said voltage values making it possible to generate a substantially sinusoidal control signal (C), generate a substantially sinusoidal control signal (C) from the determined voltage values. The invention relates also to a gear motor, a wiping system and a method for controlling the electric motor (1).
