The apparatus includes a processing system configured to generate a request for information about one or more neighboring wireless nodes; and an interface configured to output the request for transmission and, thereafter, obtain a response to the request. The processing system is further configured to filter, based on a response to the request, a list of network resources; and generate a report comprising the filtered list of network resources.
