A system for data collection, the system according to one disclosed non-limiting embodiment of the present disclosure may include an analog switch, a data acquisition circuit structured to interpret a plurality of detection values received from a detection package comprising a plurality of input sensors, each of the plurality of input sensors may be operatively coupled to an equipment component and at least one of a plurality of inputs of the analog switch. The system may further include a data analysis circuit to predict a future state of at least one equipment component based upon the plurality of detection values and data received from a data collection band circuit, wherein the analog switch is adapted to selectively couple at least one of a plurality of inputs to at least one of a plurality of outputs.
