The electronic device includes a communication circuit, a memory, and at least one processor operatively connected with the communication circuit and the memory, wherein the memory stores instructions configured to, when executed, enable the at least one processor to obtain a request for a Bluetooth connection between a first Bluetooth peripheral device and a first Bluetooth controller, identify whether the first Bluetooth peripheral device and a second Bluetooth controller are connected with each other based on Bluetooth connection information stored in the memory, control to connect the first Bluetooth peripheral device and the first Bluetooth controller with each other based on whether the first Bluetooth peripheral device and the second Bluetooth controller are connected with each other, and update the Bluetooth connection information based on the connection between the first Bluetooth peripheral device and the first Bluetooth controller.
