In one embodiment, a wireless communication device determines that a first resource indicated by uplink cancelation information overlaps with a second resource. The wireless communication device receives, from a network, an uplink (UL) grant scheduling a third resource. An ending symbol of a first downlink control channel carrying the UL grant is no earlier than a first symbol of a second downlink control channel carrying the uplink cancelation information.
