A method performed by a base station in wireless communication system, the method comprising: identifying a second temporary mobile group identity (TMGI) which is different from a first TMGI for a broadcast service, and transmitting, to an access and mobility function (AMF), information on the second TMGI, and receiving, from the AMF, information on a broadcast session allocated by the MB-SMF (multicast/broadcast-session management function) based on the information on the second TMGI, receiving, from MB-UPF, broadcast data for broadcasting to user equipment (UE).
