In an aspect, a first network node receives a measurement request from a location server, the measurement request requesting the first network node to measure a positioning reference signal (PRS) resource from at least one second network node using a plurality of receive timing error groups (Rx TEGs) of the first network node, and transmits a measurement report to the location server, the measurement report including a plurality of positioning measurements based on the PRS resource, the plurality of positioning measurements corresponding to the plurality of Rx TEGs.
