The one or more processors may then mint a non-fungible token (NFT) that references a link to a data storage area. The data storage area may store: (i) an identification of the smart device, and/or (ii) the received data and/or settings of the smart device. The following also relates generally to providing a warranty of an item. In some embodiments, one or more processors detect an indication of a sale. The one or more processors may then mint a warranty non-fungible token (NFT) that: (a) is owned by the owner of the item, (b) identifies the item, and (c) identifies warranty information of the item.
