摘要: In some examples, a system maintains, for a base storage structure and a collection of snapshots associated with the base storage structure, statistics relating to usage of storage space based on data of the base storage structure and the collection of snapshots. The system checks metadata of a first snapshot to determine validity of references in the metadata and a presence of any child of the first snapshot or a grandparent of the first snapshot. The system associates, based on the validity of the references in the metadata and the presence of any child or grandparent of the first snapshot, a hint with a metadata entry of a parent of the first snapshot to indicate that a metadata entry of the child or the grandparent is to be checked. The system updates, using the hint, the statistics relating to usage of storage space.

摘要: A computer implemented method for managing datasets for a histogram. The method uses a number of processor units to determine a first span for first bins containing first datapoints in a first dataset in the datasets. The first span is determined based a distribution of the first datapoints in the first dataset and a desired number of bins. The number of processor units adjusts a second span for second bins containing second datapoints in a second dataset in the datasets to form an adjusted span that matches the first span for the first bins. The number of processor units merges the first datapoints in the first bins having the first span with the second datapoints in the second bins having the adjusted span to form a merged dataset for the histogram.

摘要: A sandbox database is created. The sandbox database is typically a temporary database. For example, the sandbox database may be a test database for evaluating a new version of software. Creating the sandbox database comprises creating a sandbox cache in the sandbox database and copying metadata from a main database to the sandbox database. The sandbox cache is used to store record(s) that are accessed during the use of the sandbox database. The metadata is used to reference the record(s). This allows for a simpler process for creating a temporary database to be used for testing software.

摘要: A cross-blockchain mutual data storage method includes obtaining, in a first node in a first blockchain network, initial data from a first relay node in the first blockchain network, and verifying the initial data according to a first oracle contract in the first node. The method further includes, in response to the verification being successful, converting the initial data from a first data format into a second data format, and determining the initial data in the second data format as to-be-transferred data, the second oracle contract being deployed on a second node in a second blockchain network. The method also includes transmitting the to-be-transferred data to the first relay node, so that the first relay node transmits the to-be-transferred data to the second node for storage of the to-be-transferred data.
