Abstract:
The present disclosure relates to a method for producing a terephthalate derivative from dimethyl terephthalate. The present disclosure provides an efficient and economic method for producing a terephthalate derivative from dimethyl terephthalate in high yield by optimizing reaction conditions, selecting optimum transesterification reaction catalysts, and simplifying processes.
