The method includes: The terminal device receives a user operation, where the user operation indicates to display a current location of the terminal device; in response to the user operation, the terminal device obtains the current location of the terminal device by using at least two positioning methods to obtain at least two locations; and the terminal device displays the at least two locations and a label on a map, where the label is used to distinguish between the at least two locations. By implementing embodiments of this application, the terminal device may display at least two locations. The at least two locations are current locations of the terminal device that are obtained by using at least two positioning methods.
