Abstract:
A battery cell includes a housing, an end cap, an electrode terminal, an electrode assembly, and an insulating member. The housing has an opening. The end cap is provided for covering the opening. The electrode terminal is in insulated connection with the end cap. The electrode assembly is housed within the housing and includes a main body and first and second tabs. The first and second tab have different polarities and are disposed on a same end of the main body facing the end cap. One of the first and second tabs is provided for electrically connecting the end cap, and the other one is provided for electrically connecting the electrode terminal. The insulating member is at least partially located between the first tab and the second tab, and abuts against the main body along a thickness direction of the end cap.
