A cockpit assembly for a micromobility transit vehicle may include a camera and a cockpit housing. The camera may be configured to capture an image in front of the micromobility transit vehicle. The cockpit housing may be coupled to a handlebar of the micromobility transit vehicle. At least a portion of the camera may be disposed within the cockpit housing. The camera may include a logic device that may be configured to determine a condition of the camera for the micromobility transit vehicle based on at least captured image and provide a notification to perform an action with respect to the camera based on the condition of the camera.
