A power conversion apparatus may include a direct current-direct current conversion circuit and a controller. The direct current-direct current (DC-DC) conversion circuit may include a full-bridge circuit, the full-bridge circuit includes a first bridge arm and a second bridge arm that are connected in parallel, and each of the bridge arms includes an upper bridge arm switch and a lower bridge arm switch that are connected in series. The controller controls turn-on/off of the upper bridge arm switch and the lower bridge arm switch of each of the bridge arms based on a voltage of a first connection point between the upper bridge arm switch and the lower bridge arm switch in the first bridge arm and a voltage of a second connection point between the upper bridge arm switch and the lower bridge arm switch in the second bridge arm.
