In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may receive a configuration of a first resource pool associated with a first component carrier and a second resource pool associated with a second component carrier. The UE may receive an indication of a resource allocation associated with a sidelink communication, wherein the resource allocation is based at least in part on at least one of the first resource pool or the second resource pool. The UE may perform the sidelink communication in accordance with the resource allocation. Numerous other aspects are described.
