A method of preparing a polymerization catalyst which involves impregnating a catalyst support with chromium oxide and a titanium complex formed by reacting a titanium alkoxide a compound selected from the group consisting of R''xSn(OH)m and R''''pB(OH)q in which R'' and R'''' are selected from the group consisting of alkyl, aryl, and cycloalkyl radicals and combinations thereof.
