摘要：
In the vapor phase hydration of olefin to produce the corresponding alcohol employing phosphoric acid as a catalyst, the catalyst being on a catalyst support, wherein liquid phosphoric acid is entrained by the vapor withdrawn from the reaction zone, liquid phosphoric acid is removed from the lastmentioned vapor and returned to the reaction zone.
