摘要：
A color photographic material having a silver halide emulsion layer and containing a thioether compound which is reactable on chromogenic development thereby releasing a diffusible substance which inhibits the development of the silver halide.The thioether compound is a homophthalimide containing a removable mercapto group containing moiety in the 4-position and its nitrogen in the 2-position atom being a tertiary nitrogen.
