The binder is an interpolymer comprising a copolymer A of butadiene, styrene and at least one ethylenic unsaturated carboxylic acid and a polymer B of bis(2-chloroethyl)vinylphosphonate which is at least partly grafted onto copolymer A, having enhanced suitability for heat sealing and increased hydrophilia.
