摘要：
Herbicidally active substituted phenylsulfonyl urea derivatives of the formula ##STR1## in which X is phenyl or phenoxy,R is ##STR2## R.sup.1 and R.sup.2 each independently is methyl or methoxy. They are made from phenylisocyanates of the formula--SO.sub.2 --N.dbd.C.dbd.Owhich are produced by reacting a phenylsulfonamide of the formula ##STR3## with phosgene or with trichloromethyl chloroformate in the presence of an aliphatic isocyanate.
