An electrophotographic photosensitive member and a process cartridge and an electrophotographic apparatus. The process cartridge and the electrophotographic apparatus both contain the electrophotographic photosensitive member. The electrophotographic photosensitive member constitutes a conductive substrate and a photosensitive layer on the substrate.
