Cosmetic compositions which comprise waxy organosiloxanes, which are solid at room temperature, of the formula R.sup.1 R.sub.2 Si--O--SiR.sub.2 R.sup.1 (I), in which R can be identical or different and represents an alkyl radical having 1 to 4 carbon atoms and R.sup.1 can be identical or different and represents a linear alkyl radical having at least 16 carbon atoms, volatile organosiloxanes chosen from the group comprising hexamethyldisiloxane, octamethylcyclotetrasiloxane, decamethylcyclopentasiloxane and mixtures thereof, and optionally other substances.
