Positive and negative output voltages which are in positive and negative amplitude relationship with each other with a half of the liquid crystal driving voltage or the voltage of the common electrode of the liquid crystal display device as a reference voltage are alternately output from the pair of output terminals of the output selection circuit 16 to the common electrode of the liquid crystal display device, thereby performing an alternating current driving operation of the liquid crystal display device in accordance with video data.
