The base is formed with a plurality of slots having different widths or heights and sharing a common space, and an insert port for the plurality of slots is formed at a front end of the base. The contact, which is elastic and positioned within the base, is to be connected to an electrical card. One of the slots is a bevel slot that is tilted inwardly and downward from the insert port.
