The system includes: nonvolatile memory capable of having first data stored therein and an integrated circuit coupled with the nonvolatile memory. The first data is associated with a predetermined design, and the integrated circuit includes programmable logic having a user region and a reserved region. The integrated circuit is configured to obtain the first data from the nonvolatile memory for instantiation of the predetermined design in the reserved region.
