The generating unit generates a moving image file including moving image data made up of a plurality of sets of RAW data which is generated by the image capturing unit, and incidental information data corresponding to each of the sets of RAW data and including at least one of image capturing information regarding the RAW data and property information of the RAW data. Accordingly, it is possible to generate the moving image data which is easy to be handled in image processing or image quality adjustment.
