The ink cartridge container includes a container compartment to contain the ink cartridge in a position on at least one of an upstream side and a downstream side of the slider member with regard to the second direction, and a bridging section connected with the container compartment and placed on an upstream side of the slider member with regard to the first direction in a position to spread over the slider member with regard to the second direction.
