The rotor includes a rotor shaft that is rotationally coupled to at least one rotor disk. A field-generating ring is provided in which elements that can be magnetized in segments are connected to the field-generating means such that the magnetizable elements are polarized alternately over the periphery of the ring. At least one coil ring with coil windings is provided which are arranged in segments, the coil ring and the field-generating ring being concentrically arranged.
