A wireless apparatus receives a primary synchronization signal (PSS) transmitted by a first orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) symbol and a secondary synchronization signal (SSS) from a second OFDM symbol, and can search information for setting a reference signal on the basis of symbol numbers of the first OFDM symbol and the second OFDM symbol. Inter-cell interference can be reduced by means of a variety of methods for setting a reference signal.
