The first microcavity is disposed on the pixel electrode and includes an injection hole. The liquid crystal display further includes a roof layer disposed on the first microcavity, an injection hole formation region disposed between the first microcavity and a second microcavity adjacent to the first microcavity, and a liquid crystal transmission layer disposed in the injection hole formation region.
