The baseline restoration method comprises: determining whether there is a high-amplitude baseline in an input signal by previous k output signals (Y1, . . . , Yk) of a filter, where k is a natural number and k≧1; setting the previous m output signals (Y1, . . . , Ym) of the filter as Y′ when there is a high-amplitude baseline in the input signal, where Y′ is a desired output signal of the filter; and using a current input signal X0, the previous n input signals (X1, . . . , Xn), and the previous m output signals (Y1, . . . , Ym) of said filter to obtain a current output signal Y0 of said filter.
