The device includes a display interface functionally connecting a content processing module to a display; and the content processing module, wherein the content processing module is configured to receive, from at least one external device external of the electronic device or the at least one external device, ambient color information corresponding for the electronic device or the at least one external device, modify color information for at least a part of first content to be output through the display based on the received ambient color information, and output, based on the modified color information, second content having the modified color information, through the display.
