An approach includes receiving a selection of a primary application, retrieving information regarding a relationship between the selected primary application and at least one of another application and a computer device resource, and calculating a thickness value for the relationship, wherein the thickness value represents at least one parameter of interest to a user. The approach includes displaying icons representing the selected primary application and the other application(s) and computer device resource(s), and displaying at least one relationship line between the selected primary application and the other application(s)/computer device resource(s), wherein the at least one relationship line has a line weight based on the thickness value.
