The invention relates to a washing method. A first means (7) and a second means (8) are stored separately and are directly and separately supplied to the same washing device (9) in such a way that the means (7, 8) can be applied subsequently or simultaneously to the matter to be washed (2) in one washing step or washing zone, during one or several washing programmes that have to be completed. The invention also relates to a dishwasher (1) with a spraying device (9). Container (13, 14) for separately storing a first means (7) and a second means (8) are directly allocated to said spraying device. The invention further relates to the use of means that are incompatible with each other in the inventive method.
